I'm going to have to backtrack in this blog, because when in Kenya, I didn't blog... Oops! I did, however, keep a daily journal, so it won't be too difficult!
I've been home for 18 days, and I severely miss Kenya. I miss the atmosphere, the feeling of hope that fills your lungs and envelopes your being greater than the physical coat of dust. Sometimes I'm inclined to believe ungratefulness and greed are completely western philosophies. Sometimes I'm proven otherwise.
At this current juncture in time, Kenya has left me with a bittersweet taste in my mouth and with an indigestible lump in my stomach.
