Greetings, kind world!

This is probably my millionth blog, and I'm hoping that this one will stick. Maybe get a follower or two. Who knows?

Alright, let's get down to business:

My name is Lulu. I want to save the world. This blog is going to be used to track the progress of this goal. If anyone is reading this, feel free to comment on my crazy ideas, encourage me (and yourself), and maybe join in the fun. Life is too short to do what you hate, so I'm trying to "make a name" for myself in something I love -- helping others!

Looking back:

I was a Student Ambassador at my old community college where I did a boat-load of volunteer work both on and off campus.
I did 300 hours of community service with AmeriCorps <3
I went to New Orleans in May with Habitat for Humanity, where I made amazing friends while helping to build a house.

I've done a lot of other day-long events and have donated my time to several greater causes, and look forward to doing so the rest of my life.

Looking forward:

Planning a trip to New Orleans in May 2010 with some great people through Habitat for Humanity
Planning on joining the Peace Corps and serving somewhere in a french-speaking African country
Planning on doing a summer/winter service volunteering trip/internship abroad (more than once)
